Tega Cay Little League Tiny Tees Rules
Game Format
All games will be 45 minutes. Once the 45 minute time limit as expired the game ends
regardless of where it is at in the game.
There are no substitutions. Each team will field a normal baseball infield defense (P, 1B,
2B, SS, 3B) and place the rest of their team in the outfield (you could have up to 4-6
outfielders). Player pitchers must have 1 foot inside the pitching circle.
Score will not be kept.
Role of the Coaches
Coaches can assist the players in batting in addition to having base coaches at 1st, 2nd and
3
rd
.
Up to 3 defensive coaches are allowed on the field.
Coaches are encouraged to give each kid an opportunity to play the pitcher position
during the game.
Coaches will also act as the umpire for the game making the calls for fair/foul balls.
If inclement weather enters area during the game it will be the coaches’ responsibility
whether the game will be continued, delayed until the game can be safely completed or
postponed if the game cannot be safely completed.
Rules of the Game
All players will bat using a tee.
Each team will bat all the way through their roster before switching to defense.
If a player is called out they will remain on base.
Each player will move 1 base per at bat with the exception of the last batter of each
inning. The last batter in addition to all players on base will score.
All batted balls must go further than the 3’ arc in front of home plate, or they will be
ruled as a foul ball.
